Compare the original flap, corner piece and hinge clearances before printing; use UV-, weather- and cabin-heat-resistant tough material, deburr every edge, and cycle the folding roof stationary through its full travel while checking that the flap closes, latches and clears seals and adjacent panels. Stop use if any part binds, cracks or loosens; this repair does not replace the roof lock, hydraulic drive or structural linkage.
