Fuel-Cap Tether

Flexible replacement tether published specifically for this generation. The creator requires TPU and instructs removal of the lid pin and remaining old tether before fitting the new piece snugly around the fuel cap without affecting its seal. Compare the pin, cap eye, tether length and filler-lid clearance, use fuel-vapour-, UV- and weather-resistant TPU and confirm the tether cannot enter the filler neck or prevent the cap from sealing completely.
